Dancefest Results - Deerhurst April 23 - 25, 2010
Congratulations to all members of the Northern Lights Dance Team!!
Your instructors, parents and fellow dance students are very proud of your accomplishments.
Our Novice Team entered four routines, winning 3 High Gold Awards, 1 Gold Award, four 1st place trophy's and one 3rd place trophy.
Our Competitive Team was entered in six group routines, winning 5 Gold Awards, 1 High Silver Award, three 2nd place trophies and two 3rd place trophys. The Competitive category is always marked harder than Novice or PreCompetitive or Recreational categories.
We entered two competitive duets, each receiving a Gold Award, and one1st place trophy and one 3rd place trophy.
Our three competitive solo performances received 1 HighGold Award and a 1st place medallion, and 2 Gold Awards with one 2nd place medallion.
CanDance Results - North Bay May 16, 2010
We brought down a new Novice Team of six dancers age 9 - 10 to perform a jazz routine. The received a Gold Award, (85 - 89.9)and performed beautifully.

Our Novice Team was promoted to the Competitive category. We entered a total of 11 group routines in the competitive category, winning 4 Gold Awards (85 -89.9) and 7 Platinum Awards (90 - 94.9). We received two overall High Score awards trophies in the large group category, one for groups age 12 and under, and one for age groups 13 and over.
We entered two duets, receiviing one Gold Award, and one Platinum Award. Our three solo performances all received Platinum Awards. Ryan Maki Delich was named Senior Male Titled Soloist, and Hannah Ehman was second runner -up forSenior Female Titled Soloist. Hannah also received a $1000 scholarship to dance in New York City this summer. Our lowest overall mark was 88.1, and our highest was 93.4. Congratulations everyone!!!!
